Profile

Dr.Amitabh Goel Son of Mr.Chandraprakash Goel & Mrs.Uma Goel born in village called Rajhara, Dist Durg. Now in Chhatisgarh. Persued schooling from bhilai Vidhyalay Sector 2, Bhilai Steel plant, Bsc.part1 from Holkar Science College in 1979, got selected in PMT & joined G.R.Medical College Gwalior.

He Cleared MBBS in 1984 & persued MS (Gen Surgery) in 1988 under the guidance of Prof.Dr.Mahendra Prasad.

Then he joined Choithram hospital & Research Centre in 1988 in the dept of cardiothoracic & vascular surgery as registrar under Dr.Dheeraj.M.Gandhi.

He worked in the open heart unit till 1991, and then joined as senior registrar under Dr.K.L.Bandi & Dr.C.S.Chamania. He then became a clinical assistant in 1993 & a junior consultant in January 1994 and since then he is practicing as a laparoscopic, thoraco-vascular & general surgeon.
