I, Dr. Amitabh Goel consultant general surgeon confining my practice to aparoscopic,Thoraco- Vascular  and general  Surgery in Indore (Madhya Pradesh) India. This may very well be your first visit to  my website and I would like to acquaint you with basic information on  laparoscopic,Thoracoscopic ,vascular, obesity and gastro intestinal surgery. We want to give you some information through this website on common diseases, screening, diagnoses, and treatments involved in my practice. Specific information includes gall stones, Gastro Oesophageal Reflux Disease, Hernias, Inguinal Hernia, Obesity, Appendicitis, Pancreatitis, Laparoscopic (Key Hole) surgery, obesity surgery, Laser Surgery and much more.                                                                                                                                  I passed my M.B.B.S in 1984, cleared M.S. in general Surgery in 1988 from G.R.MedicalCollege,Gwalior. I worked in diptt. of Cardio- Thoracic and Vascular Surgery from 1988 - 1991, Uro-Surgery from 1991-93 in Choithram Hospital and Research Centre, Indore, M.P.In 1994 I was promoted as consultant in the    diptt. of General Surgery. As I was having inclination and dedication towards Minimal Invasive Surgery as we Operated first Laparoscopic Cholesitectomy in 1992 operated by Dr K.L. Bandi, Senior Surgeon assisted by Dr. C.S.Chamania senior Surgeon and as 2nd assistant was me. I started my practice in Laparoscopic and thoracovascular Surgery .
